ACTIVITIES AS A COUNTRY REPRESENTATIVE DURING THE PAST WEEK (04/06/2021)

Greetings steemit team,

I write to present my report on my activities as a country representative of Ghana during the past week. This week, I have been working closely with ghanaian steemians and providing them with the necessary support and guidance in order to improve upon the status of our community.

As such, here are my activities for the past week.

STEEM GHANA T-SHIRTS

I have been working on the steem ghana t-shirts for Ghanaian steemians with the design shop for a while now and thankfully, it is finally ready. I had a few challenges along the way as we couldn't get them all at once but everything is finally here and distribution will start very soon.

Currently, since I am in Kumasi at the moment, I would like to start here. I am planning a meetup where we can meet at one place so that we can deliver the t-shirts at once to our steemians in this region.

WEEKLY CHALLENGE

We continue to motivate our steemians to build their steem power in order for us to support ourselves as much as possible. This is why I came up with this challenge whereby steemians could power up their accounts and hope to motivate others to join through steem rewards. The challenge can be seen below.

I had questions concerning how to calculate your various power ups since most of our steemian used to resort to manual calculation and added each power up individually in the wallet section. This tutorial can be found below as well.

I also used my personal account to curate ghanaian posts all round. I always make it a point to visit posts trooping in within our community in order to render vote support or provide valuable comments as well. This helps to improve retention and encourages our steemians to produce more good contents.

Another way of motivating posts coming from our steemians is to submits posts that meet the requirements of the steemit support program. This has become a part of me as I cross-check all various posts to ensure that they are void of plagiarism and are also copyright-free before submitting them for vote support.

I have been powering up quite often in order to further boost my own personal steem power and this has become quite a habit of mine. Within the month of May, I made a total of 1,105 power ups as seen below.

This week was no exception as I made some power ups as soon as I could. So far I have made 250 steem power ups in total sending my personal steem power to 10,368 SP.

I am looking forward to supporting more ghanaian steemians through my curation activities.

WEEKLY VOICE CHAT

At the end of each week, we organise a voice chat on telegram with steemians in order to discuss issues that are pertinent to the growth of steem ghana. Last week, I was happy to take the community through some of the things we have noticed within the community especially amongst newbies such as post translation, copyright abuse and so on.

We also had a few of our experienced steemians also voice out their contributions for better growth on the platfrom. Questions were then welcomed which were answered accordingly.

FUTURE PLANS

I am planning to meetup with steemians for the t-shirts distribution to begin as soon as possible. This would really help each individual to get their own copies as well as help reduce the workload and cost involved in one-on-one deliveries. Our weekly telegram meeting will also be going on this weekend as planned.

I will continue give my best to support our members on the steemit ecosystem and would be working with my fellow country reps to better improve our community.
