Hello ladies, it's a good day today. How are we? I trust this year started well, it will continue to move well. I happen to open up my business today. It's not been so easy with things the previous year but I believe this new year came with a lot of new things.

I woke up very early say 4:30am because I had the mind to go to work very early to set everywhere in order before the workers arrives. I got up from the bed, said my prayers, brushed my teeth and then I boiled water to bath. After bathing, I dressed up immediately because it was almost getting to 5:30am and I needed to leave the house before 6:30am. Before I could finish up with virtually everything, It was time. I left the house, borded a tricycle to my place of work.

I opened up the whole place and started by dusting the tables and chairs before I mopped. The place was not so dirty because I had cleaned it up two days ago..... After mopping, I arranged everything thing where it should be, I cleaned every locker and washed the combs and towels. By now the workers have started arriving and I was almost through with what I was doing. They joined in the little way they could..

When everyone has arrived, we had a union prayer to open up the year..... After the prayers, customers started coming in one by one. The barbing section did not rest from that morning till evening. It was really tedious for them.

I made plans to braid my hair today but I was not so sure if my stylist was going to braid the hair. I consulted her first and she accepted, then I had to loosen my hair and wash it while she arrange things for the hair. We started the hair when she must have finished..... But we were unable to finish the hair so the work will continue the next day. I know you want to see the hair but don't worry, I will be showing it to you when the hair is done 😊, it's still cooking....

Well, we rounded up for the day and left to our various destinations. I got home so late because I waited for the barbing section to close up too. I got home very tired. I took my bath and had my dinner and then I replied to some messages online after which I slept off.......

Conclusion

I know most of us have started the business for the year while some have not. It's always very good to start up early. Hustle when others are running helter skelter too. Remember not relax this period because there is no free meal anywhere. Refuse to be fed this season. Start up something no matter how small it may seem. I have started and I strongly believe that all I have planned to achieve this year will come through.
