Congrats Nightshift! Many more contributions to science to come, I hope?

What project(s) are you running?

crunching amicable numbers, milkyway, and moowrapper. sometimes einstein but lately hasn't been running good on my cpu, gpu tasks are good though. and anything else really takes way longer than the suggested time. one task said 3 hours but after six i completed lest than 10% so i dont work on those projects, the ones i named my pc's run good.

Ah, yeah the time estimate on tasks appears to be the mean completion time recorded by the project server. Taking 8-core YAFU jobs, some take a day, while others only take 5 minutes. The tasks are usually supplied with an expected run time of about 8 hours.

Don't worry about the time it takes - you are paid out for that time. It is NOT the case that a longer job earns you less mag/RAC/GRC per hour than a shorter job.

If You Track & Upvote Me, I Will Follow Upvote You

I think I say this a lot to new members of Steemit, but here goes again.

Do not beg for, or try to exchange, follows or upvotes like this. Not only will you get flagged and lose reputation, but anyone that does follow you as a result is unlikely to add much value to you or the community.

Try and write some quality articles, and you will find people will follow you naturally for your content. Those followers are valuable, because they appreciate your work.
