Got new climbing shoes!
This is not my usual content, but I thought it would ne fun to share! Earlier today I got to test out my new climbing shoes! They a pair of butora shoes! Generally speaking, the steeper the slope of the shoes, the better they are for harder climbing problems. Since I am still a beginner climber, I decided to get a pair that is not very sloped. Most shoes are velcro, but I find that they might not hug your foot right. Since velcro shoes also only have 2 strips, they often don't fully secure your foot. Having a pair with laces allows me to perfectly tighten the shoe to my foot! I can adjust it so it can give me more support where I need it most!
Aftee the first day of use, I'm very happy! :) I was able to climb with virtually no problems. Usually new shoes need to be broken in, and the new shoes can be pretty slippery on the wall, but I had no problem getting complete traction! I'm going to go climbing tomorrow, so I'll make a post about the second experience!
In my next post I'll also give more info on bouldering itself! Above is a picture of one of the walls from the circuit climbing gym!
Thanks for reading! :)
Very cool, congratulations! Those shoes will experience so many adventurous moments with you.
I surely hope so! :) maybe one day after i am comfortable enough climbing in a gym, I'll take them out into nature and do some outdoor bouldering!
