Zoo - fiftywords challenge
Sad eyes stare out at me from behind metal bars. Depressed and drooped.
Further on a once proud lion far from his glory days. With his spirit broken, no longer is he the king of anything.
Hearing screeches to my left,
“Make him do something daddy. This is so boring.”

That was deep. It reminds me of the first time I heard someone refer to a zoo as 'animal jail'. It's never quite the same after that...
I grew up on a farm so I love animals. I'm practical about it in that we do use them for ourselves but i hate to see them caged or hurt.
