Eruption - fiftywords - Humor
Pressure built beneath the surface. Gasses deep below looking for the exit.
Powerfully escaping through to the surface.
Filling the air with noxious gas.
A false alarm? No!!
Followed seconds later by a stream of molten liquid running down the crevices.
It happened, I thought I farted but I shit.
A dramatic fifty words reading in association with @miniature-tiger and the fifty words challenge.
Also I have the humor of a 12 year old.

@originalworks
I like the dramatic urgency as it actually captures the speed and viciousness of a volcanic eruption - and the injected humour at the end.
Thanks. Watching a fire fighter show lately and the theme is kind of stuck in my head.
Ha! Interesting how television shapes our thoughts even when we're not watching it. I think people are made to be story-tellers at some deep rooted level, and the stories we hear influence our lives subconsciously much more than we might realise.
Although not this particular story, ideally! ;)
Thanks again for participating @niallon11!
I know. Even the phrases and knowledge that you pick up subconsciously are amazing.
I always loved writing though. My father was a great man for telling stories and my mother was a librarian so my childhood was full of them.
It was always in the background somewhere to read and write.
