Weekly Country Representative/ Greeter's Report (For The Week Ending 27th September,2022)

Dear team,

It is my delight to present my report as a country representative for Nigeria and as a greeter in newcommers community achievement program. I am glad to remain active in discharging my duties in terms of guiding users, making comments on their publications, recruiting newbie, initiating a meetup for all Nigerians, supporting my fellow admins in Steem4Nigeria community to come up with an initiative to recruit city leaders, Curation with steemkids community account, remaining active with my personal account and discharging my duties as a greater and curator with steemcurator03. Please, details are below.

One of the foremost accomplishment this week was initiating and organizing a virtual meetup for all Nigerians which recorded a huge success. We are trying to regroup and move forward as a country and this meetup has proved to be a powerful push for that. I announced the meetup here and at the scheduled date, it was held. The outcome of the meeting was successful as I included in this post here.

One of the things we discussed was getting city coordinators that will help to coordinate the affairs of users in their locality and thus help to guide and identify anyone that will join steemit from their cities. Steem4Nigeria through its official account has announced for the coordinators. We are waiting for the end of the announcement to announce the coordinators that will mount that podium. It's going to be great!

My Recruitment/Guiding Users

From time to time, I receive private messages in my direct chat from users who needed guidience on one thing or the other here in steemit, I take my time to help them out. The questions about club status, about which community to post about the type of post that is acceptable and about their achievement posts. I responded to them and assisted them in areas that I could. About 5 of them this past week which I guided.

I was able to recruit a newbie this week. I had to make sure that the user is a real person and not one of those that powered down and are looking for ways to rejoin with another Username. I had to make a video call to talk with him and see him virtually. I made a post about it here

Comments/Review Of Publications

I was involved in reviewing publications and making comments too on users publications. This past week, I took time to review publications in steemkids community and gave corrections where necessary to improve the Publications of the users. I also made comments in Steem4Nigeria community.

My Contest

I hosted a contest with my personal account in steemkids community to help keep the members active. It is about creativity and I have received a lot of resteems to show that entries will be much on it. Here is the contest link. This one of the ways that I help users to be active in the blog. I promised to pay out Tron as reward.

I also updated steemkids community weekly contest here. I also announced the winners for the previous week's contest.

Booming Supports

I am responsible for directing MODs in steemkids community to select publications for booming support. I also take part in the selection and after which I submit them in the sheet for support.

Also in Steem4Nigeria community, I take my turns 2 times in a week to select publications for booming support and to publish the selected publications using the community account. I did my part this past week.

Activities With My Personal Account And That Of Steemkidss

I have been actively using my account to publish posts and to support users. This past week, I made 5 publications aside my country representative report. I ought to have made more publications but I have a unique challenge of internet connection problem. I love making publications late at night or very early in the morning but at the times, my internet connection just will not connect and it bothers me a lot. Perhaps the season we are into has a lot to contribute to that. I am hoping that it will improve.

I also was able to support users through curation with my personal account and that of steemkids community account. This past week, I supported

My steempower is also building up. I have increased it from what it was last week through setting my publications to 100% powerup. It is now 49,454.55sp. Less than 600 to hit my target of 50k which will make me an Orca. I am grateful to the support I am receiving from the chief curators. A big thank you.

Steemkidss is also building it's steempower. It is now 36,330.22sp now. It is on its way to 40k steempower. We can only get their with the supports from the chief curators.

Greeter's Report/Curation with Steemcurator03

It is my duty as a greeter in newcommers community to review achievement posts and guide the newbies by instructing them on how to pass the achievement posts in each level. I did that this past week. I carried out this work judiciously.

I also was able to support the achievement posts that complied with all the rules with SC03 except those is the users that have stayed for more than a year in the platform. I gave them the appropriate labels which is "Alumni".

Plans For The Coming Week/Conclusion

I will continue to carry out my duties as a country representative for Nigeria, guiding users and leading by example.

I will keep initiating projects that will help keep us active in the platform.

Restarting promotion in my country is on my mind but I am waiting for the application for city coordinators to be concluded.

I have applied for community Curation and If I am selected, I will like to do my best to curate publications come October, 2022.
