Investing in Steemit as a way of Securing your Finance

Hello dear wonderful friends here in steemit and dear community owners, trust you are all doing great? I welcome you all to my entry in this amazing contest topic by Steem4Nigeria community. Anything investment is what I love so much and that is why I have decided to take part in this contest.

I also want to encourage everyone to consider investing in steem because it is a way of Securing our finances.

Before I begin with the contest hints, I will like to talk about investing in steem. Steem is a cryptocurrency just like Bitcoin, and other Altcoins. It behaves the same way other cryptocurrencies behave, that is, it has the potential of increasing or decreasing in prices depending on whether the market is bullish or bearish. But in all, steem has a greater advantage over them all due to the project that promotes it known as steemit. So investing in steem is not about having steem and leaving it in other wallets other than steemit wallet but bringing it to your steemit wallet. There are advantages to that which I will explain when am attending to the contest hints.

So whenever you have steem and you get it into your steemit wallet and power up, you have invested in steem so far as am concerned, I don't know about you. It is now time for me to give attention to the contest hints.

Different ways of getting my steem Investment to steemit platform

Before I can get my steem to steemit platform, I must have gotten the steem ready somewhere. I must have either used my fiat currency to buy steem which is the one I have done twice or using my investment in other cryptocurrencies to buy steem. Whichever one I have chosen to do, the steem will first of all land in an exchange platform.

There are different exchange platforms that can allow me to get my steem to steemit platform. They are but not limited to the following

° Binance

° Houbi

° polionix

° Roque

And so many others. These are all exchange platforms that allows steem to be traded and can be used as a means to transfer steem to steemit platform. I have personally not been using all others but I have used binance which is the one I will like to talk about even though the procedures are just the same which is using my steemit username, along with my personal memo from my verified exchange platforms that is for steem and then complete the transaction.

For the purpose of this contest, I will like to demonstrate how to get steem from my binance account to steemit platform though I didn't actually complete the process but I got to the final stage. The steps are as follows 👇👇

Step one: I already had a $12 worth of Bitcoin in my binance account so I used it to buy 36 steem. See screenshot below

Now, you can see the 36 steem that I bought with the $12 worth of Bitcoin in the screenshot above.

To get it to my steemit wallet, I clicked steem from my binance wallet, then click on withdraw, a page displayed where I imputed my username, the memo and the quantity I want to send to my Steemit wallet and then finally clicked on withdraw. I have clearly marked everything on the screenshot below 👇👇

After this stage, it was asked to confirm the details. After making sure that every detail is ok, I clicked on confirm and I was asked to impute the codes that was sent to my phone number and email address. After this stage, the next thing is to finally click on submit. Boom 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥, I have successfully got my steem to my steemit wallet. But I didn't click on submit because I didn't want to make any investment now via this means.

• Note that I can also use the Tron I have been earning in steemit to buy steem and still get it back to my steemit wallet. It is another way of investing in steem.

• I also buy steem in the steemit internal market with the SBD I earn on a weekly basis and power up. To do this, I simply click on the SBD balance in my steemit wallet,

Then I will input the amount of SBD that I want to use and buy with steem. There I will see the amount of steem I am buying with that particular amount of SBD

Then I will be taken to a page where I need to confirm the purchase. After that, the steem will drop in my steemit wallet which I can then powerup.

• Another point to note here is that, merely getting your steem to the steemit platform doesn't mean that you have invested in steem. The only time you will actually invest is when you power up the steem. If not, it will just be the same with leaving it in other wallets other than steemit wallet and only take advantage of price increase.

To power up your steem, simply click on the steem balance you have in your steemit wallet, click on powerup.

Then on the dialogue box that will be displayed, input the amount of steem you want to powerup and then click powerup to complete the investment. Then the steem will move from liquid steem to steempower. This is the actual time you have invested in steem in steemit platform. See the screenshot below 👇👇

This is what makes your investment in steem worthwhile. Try it and experience the difference.

Why It Is Important To Invest In Steemit Platform (The Gains of the investment)

The importance of investing in steem can never be overemphasized. Words can not even be enough to describe what I have personally experienced investing in steem. Like I said earlier, I love discussing this because it keeps making me happy 😊😊😊.

Investing in steem doesn't in itself mean that you will start experiencing the benefits if you don't put them to good use. Use here means that it will become your working capital which can generate income for you.

When your steem is in steempower you gain the following benefits that are different from taking advantage of cryptocurrency price increase.

• You will gain curation rewards when you use your account to curate publications depending on the quantity of steempower that you have.

• Investment in steem will gain you influence in the platform because most users will like to be associated with you.

• You can also support other users and make them enjoy their steemit Journey as you upvote their publications with your steempower

• You can also support communities by delegating to them to increase their steempowers which they will in turn use to support others

• Do you know that your investment in steem attracts other investors? Yes, when you are asking others to join steemit and they check your wallet and see that you have invested, they will like to join you. When they do, the credibility of steemit platform will keep increasing and you will keep enjoying your steemit Journey because you have others in the platform who have also invested.

• You will experience the joy and fulfilment that comes with knowing the fact that you you have an investment running.

My Experience in the investment plan I have participated in steemit platform

There are a good number of invest plans here in steemit platform that one can join or take part in.

We have the club initiative, Spud4steem promotion and Delegation

My experience has been marvelous. I joined club initiative since it was introduced. I was able to check my club status from the first day I joined steemit till when it was introduced and I found out that I was already in club5050. I wasn't comfortable with that alone until January, 2022. The first week of that month was when I used the Tron I earned since integration with tron and bought steem with it. Along with my earnings which I powered up, I joined club75 and you know what, that gave me a massive upvote from the chief curator. Check this post of mine here. I felt so good within me that I was able to achieve that. I that post, you will see the screenshot of the steem I got to my Steemit wallet from binancehot.

As regards the clubdolphins, I have achieved several of them. I joined 4X dolphin during the advent of club initiative and I got a massive upvote from @steemcurator01 and with that, I even celebrated it with friends in my steemit office. Check here

Since then, I have joined 5X, 6X and now 7X. This is where I am currently. Even though I didn't get my 7X dolphin upvote from 01, I will not stop there. I will keep moving forward according to the resources available to me. There is nothing like it. I have achieved +36k steempower all because of the club initiative. It helped me to climb so fast. To really understand how I am feeling right now, just get to that amount of steempower and you can relate to my happiness. Those who have gotten there and surpassed it will understand.

Spud4steem promotion was actually how I started growing my steempower apart from the first investment I made. I I bought steem with my fiat currency and powered up and I won forth place

After that September, 2020 that I won, I have been powering up. So my expectations are much and my achievements are great

I have also delegated to some communities to support them. Someone without steempower can not delegate. So investing in steem is the only way to build steempower and then delegate. Some communities appreciate delegators with delegation rewards. I have earned these severally.

I also upvote publications and earn curation rewards as a result. It is a wonderful experience.

Any Challenges Before, During, or After my investment moves?

Well, there is no challenge so far. I have not experienced any for now.

Conclusion

So far so good,I have been able talk about what investing in steem means. That is, using your fiat to buy steem from any exchange and getting it to my steemit wallet. Some can also buy steem with other cryptocurrencies he or she has and transfer to steemit wallet.

I have also stated the importance of investing in steem. It increases out chances of earnings, gives us influence and we can be able to assist users and communities grow by Delegating to them.

My experience in investing in steem has been awesome as I have always been excelling. I have have recorded a lot of milestones as a result and I will encourage all to try investing in steem.

Do far so good, I have told is that there is no challenge. If any, it must have been paled into insignificance compared to the benefits. I started steemit with nothing, invested a little and have earned much. What other thing do I want in life?.
