With technology becoming more evolved, communications are becoming increasingly better quality and faster. Today we have reached the 4th generation of mobile networks and we probably all know this by seeing a "4G" symbol every day on our mobile phone screen.

In the following years, however, the possibility of having greater than today's speed is not unlikely. After researching we have already built the next step named as "5G".

Unfortunately, however, such a radical change is not easy. Telecom operators will have to make massive upgrades to their facilities as well as to their entire network.

Although they are already being tested by some providers, there are no standards for new infrastructure.

What is 5G ?

5G is essentially radio waves. Their frequency ranges from 30 to 300 GHz. This gives us the ability to be able to have very high speed compared to previous technologies. The spread of the signal will be extremely difficult because of the high frequency as the ability to overcome obstacles such as walls etc.

The next step will be around 2020, when providers in America will finally start to support the 5G. AT&T announced that it would begin rolling out its mobile 5G network later this year.

Obviously, we will all need to change our devices to enjoy these possibilities, but it is too early to talk about it. The next two years will be just the beginning of a new technological development.
