Yea, what a bunch of bullshit. You supposedly are not in a position to act, but that didn't stop you from acting. You did take an action. You returned an account to a scammer and allowed him to rip me off. And if you assist a scammer, then you are little better than a scammer yourself.

Congrats Steem Inc, pat yourself on the back, you have destroyed about 80% of my loan business.

What this means is that I no longer rely on the Owner key mechanism to help secure my loans. Maybe I should have never tried to use it in the first place, yea fine whatever.

This means that many people who needed a loan are not going to get one now. Can't get that loan you needed? Well you can thank @kibria365 and Steem Inc for that one.

The types of loans I might be able to make:

• Card based loans: I can still take Steem Monster cards as collateral.

• If your account was created by Anon-steem. @someguy123 is actually pretty reasonable and won't just hand the account back to the scammer, so I may still be able to loan to Anon-steem created accounts (maybe).

• If you are an existing customer and I've held your keys for over 30 days and/or I've changed the recovery account to myself, then I can make loans to you.

• If you are willing to give me your keys and wait for 30 days before getting the money, then I'd be willing to loan to you. What? 30 days is too long to wait? Well too fucking bad, again you complain to @kibria365 and Steem Inc for that.

• There is a very tiny, small, vanishingly small group of people that I'm willing to take the risk and loan without collateral. If you are reading this, chances are excellent that you are not one of them.

I'm taking a Bank holiday for a week

I'm going to take a week off from taking on any new business while I decide what to do. I'm probably going to shutdown the deposit aspect of my Bank, of course I'll be returning all depositor money, with something extra for them. So no problems there of course.

This isn't the end of me making loans here in Steemit, but it's going to hit me very hard, and I'll be making much much fewer loans. Don't know what else to say.

It's a very sad day for the Bank.
