I am here to talk about basic security on steemit.

Before I Proceed.

WHAT IS SECURITY?

Security is the quality or state of being secure: such as freedom from danger :
SAFETY
Security mean something when the are there we feel secure. Likewise a son or daughter feel so secure walking with the father, the same where we build houses and put doors and keys to feel secure from harmfull stuff that is how important security is. Let relate that to steemit that is why the provide us with keys to secure our account and wallet against

Question 1.

HAVE YOU RETRIEVE ALL YOUR KEYS ON STEEMIT?

• Yes. I have retrieve all my keys on steemit.
• Here are the 5 keys
• Master key
• Posting key
• Active key
• Memo key
• Owner key

Question 2.

• DO YOU KNOW EACH OF THESE KEY, FUNCTION AND RESTRICTIONS?

Yes. Example

POSTING KEY :

• Is use to publish a post or comment, to Edit a post or comment, to upvote and downvote, to resteem contents, to follow people and to mute account

PRIVATE ACTIVE KEY:

• Is used for monetary and wallet related action such as transferring token, or powering STEEM up and down.

MEMO KEY :

• Is used to send an encrypted messages, and view an encrypted messages

OWNER KEY :

• Is used for recovery account, delining voting right, resetting other keys

MASTER KEY :

• Is used to resetting all other key and to login to account.

• HOW DO YOU PLAN TO KEEP YOUR MASTER PASSWORD.

• I have save it on offline by writing it into my diary and online by saving it in my Gmail account

• DO YOU KNOW HOW TO TRANSFER YOUR STEEM TOKEN TO ANOTHER STEEM USER ACCOUNT.

Yes
When you login into your account you now click on wallet you will see steem, steem power, steem dollar, and saving, you will now click on the drop down arrow You will see transfer, transfer to saving, power up, trade, and market, You will then click transfer and insert the username of the person You want to transfer to and the amount and click next and put in your active key then transfer.

• DO YOU KNOW HOW TO POWER UP YOUR STEEM.
  Yes. You will login into your account and click on wallet you will see steem, steem power, steem dollar, and saving then you will click on the drop down arrow You will see transfer, transfer to saving, power up, trade, and market, You will then click on power up and put in the amount you want to power up then click ok

CONCLUSION.

We need to keep our keys save
