If you are tired of a typical Malaysian movie that you cannot relate with, dialog-wise, social interaction-wise, and realism in life, you shud watch this movie.
The things that has been forbidden in local cinema has finally made it through.
Film should be a work of art. Filmakers should be unbiased and mirror the truth despite who ever is in power. If a movie lies to please those who are in power, it is not a film, it is wayang.
There are differences between the two.
This movie is like a victory line as Malaysia celebrate and mark the change of government from the incumbent to a new one.
And stories of reality from the previous government finally made it through the film medium. It is not new (as we all know) to our knowledge but to be presented in films without taking in a shape of parody is very new and brave.
This movie has been screened in Beijing, Italy and New York and it has been greatly accepted there. Now its here in Malaysia!
