Yay!

Today marks the 100th day Im in Steemit!
*sound of two guys clapping
*sad face coz not yet 100 SP

In the beginning

Ive been introduced to Steemit by one of my fellow artist friend @stahlberg from one of his post in Facebook back in early January this year and brought me straight into #teammalaysia.
It is where I learnt everything about Steemit and the guys in there has been absolutely amazing by lending a support towards an absolute noob such as myself.

On a more serious note

Ive started to learn about this whole blockchain and cryptocurrency back in early 2017 when I started to mine bitcoin with my potato GPU. From there I didnt stop to try to find a better way to do it.

Until I got into Steemit

It is a perfect social media platform where you can basically do anything uve ever done in blogspot and facebook, and at the same time you are like mining crypto by being awarded.

At first I stupidly posted random photos and gifs, (stupid i know) but as I go along, Ive meet people in #steem-cartoon who are doing the things that I do as a hobby (arts and drawing) and joined their group in doing so. As @sireh told me once,

"...find your niche, Luke"

Also the upvotes system done by the guys in #teammalaysia is helping me alot in powering up and giving back to the community. It is still a pathetic 75 SP for me to this day but I hope it will grow as I try to post daily of my stuff and get daily author and curation reward (amen)

Ive also signed up to a curator group and it has stricten me to only post quality content, policed by them, in order to get rewarded.

There is still alot for me to learn from this whole thing, like today is the first day Ive signed up in steemauto for automatic upvoting (duh)

Being consistent

Ive been looking at the posts by others and got very inspired by how amazingly consistent they are in their niche posting. May it be arts, travel, food, photography etc.

So Ive been doing daily sketches in my blog hopefully to have some trademark and identity in the community.

Ive won few SBD getting myself in a smartphonephotography contest, and yesterday I got a second place in a character design contest and also wrote a little travel guide. All for a little SBD :)

Ive also done some vlog earlier and looking forward to be doing it again. (thanks Youtube for demonetising my 10 year old channel)

For now, im still in the power up stage and need to keep posting!
