Air Rifle Alert! Everyone Should Know This!

The other day a friend of mine brought out a new toy that he had recently purchased. Well let me tell you this thing was not a toy at all. It was an air rifle. Let me begin to tell you about this thing. This was not your standard back yard .177 pellet gun. This was a state of the art precision high performance air rifle. This particular one shot a 25 caliber projectile. Just to put that in to perceptive a person can purchase a 22 caliber fire arm. Meaning a bullet that uses gun powder. The 25 caliber pellet is a mid ranged size pellet for these particular performance rifles. The average backyard pellet rifle is .177 and this one is .25. This air rifle has a canister mounted on the stock which aloud for it to be loaded up with compressed air. Enough air for a dozen shots without losing much force on the projectile. It could quickly be refilled by using a secondary scuba sized tank.

This gun has been known to shoot a pellet up to over 400 yards. That is four football fields end to end. That is a very very long way for an air rifle. This rifle is extremely awesome. With a hefty price tag just under $1,000.00 u.s.d. This was not the only thing my friend had purchased. The second thing he had bought was a very state of the art digital scope. The scope mounted to the top of the rifle. This scope could be digitally programmed by a smartphone or tablet PC via Bluetooth.

The scope not only dialed in the accuracy of the sights. It also included night vision. Now, when I say night vision. I mean even if it's pitch black out, this sight can clearly see anything. It has a green overlaying light and the image is as if it were in black and white. The image is crystal clear. This all means that this rifle can hit a target a couple football fields away in pitch black settings. The target would have no idea what had happened.

This is clearly a weapon, as it can easily kill. So, if you are a bad guy involved in activities you should not be? Than I recommend you choose another activity. I decided to write this piece to share a little information about the technology that has been developed and in the hands of enthusiasts. Also to serve as warning to everyone and to tell all bad guys beware! There is a new sheriff in town. As I mentioned this is only the mid sized caliber air rifle, there are larger sizes available now. Larger calibers are being developed every year. I don't know what the overall price of this package amounted too. However it did cost a good months salary for the average person in the US, this I can assure you.

One more interesting factor about this rifle is that the sound made when it is fired(launched) is much quieter than a fire arm. It sounds like a power stapler or something along those lines.
