The confession of sins glorifies God. To confess is to agree with God that sin is our fault and sincerely repent of it. Brings glory to God. We do not need to beg your forgiveness. He is faithful, just and ready to forgive us as soon as we agree with him.

If on the contrary you seek to justify your sin, you renounce responsibility and blame God for being in a difficult situation. Adam is an example of this type of behavior. When God denounced him, what did he say in his defense? "The wife you gave me, she gave me from the tree and I ate" (Gen. 3:12). What I really meant with these words was, "It's your fault, God, if you had not given me this woman, then nothing would have happened." If we do this, then we blame God, we give him the responsibility, but God is never guilty of our sin.

Therefore, those who are trying to get out of the shameful situation, having removed the absolute responsibility for their sin, commit a grave sin against the glory of God. 1 John 1: 9 says: "If we confess our sins, then He, being faithful and just, will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

In John 15: 8, Christ said to the disciples, "Therefore my Father will be glorified if you bear much fruit." Good works are fruit. When good works are present in our lives, the world, seeing this, will glorify our Heavenly Father.

Psalm 49:23 says: "He who sacrifices praise, that honors me." Praise honors God. One way to praise God is to give him credit for everything.

If we confess our sins, do good deeds and praise God, we can live the glory of God; we can also be happy with what we have. When we are happy with what we have, we recognize the sovereign and independent hand of God over our lives, and this gives glory to Him. Glorifying God means absolute satisfaction, the understanding that our circumstances in a given situation are God's plan. in our lives. If, on the contrary, we are dissatisfied, we doubt the wisdom of God.

Christ said: "And if you ask the Father for something in my name, I will do it, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son" (John 14:13). The name of Jesus symbolizes his character, his whole essence. Therefore, prayer in his name means prayer according to his character and will. God longs to manifest his glory by answering prayers. This is one of the reasons why He commands us to pray, to show us His greatness, so that we give Him all the glory He deserves.
