DECENTERNET: The Next Step In The Evolution Of The Internet!

in #decenternet6 years ago (edited)

Let me tell you a little scary story of what the world is gradually becoming. The other day I was with a friend at home discussing about a house I wanted to invest in. Much later I picked up my device to visit the web as usual. Guess the first advert I saw- Real Estate Agents In Your Locality....

I mean this sounds like some futuristic post-apocalyptic kind of situation but it's already happening now. The worst thing is that many persons see it as normal. Every time you log into Facebook or you use Google Chrome or affiliated devices, you are not just making these giant centralized corporations richer but you are giving away all of your liberty. These people have more data of you than you can even imagine. If you doubt go download your Facebook data. You may shed tears.

Daniel Larimer the founder of EOS said that the reason he went into blockchain development and management is "to secure liberty of life and property." The same thing applies from the father of the blockchain technology Satoshi Nakamoto, who single handedly spearheaded the super awesome ecosystem we all enjoy today.

Now another brand of innovation is coming forth with something unique to loose all the chains we are all being attached to without knowing. The era of Google as a search engine is coming to an end. The era of Windows as an operating system is also coming to an end. The era of fiat is already quickly passing by as Cryptocurrency triumphantly marches forward as a means of global value exchange.

DECENTERNET is the answer.

The concept of decenternet (DNet) is to hand over the $3 Trillion USD power we have all contributed to centralized data managers back to the masses. P2p networks are the future and now of money. DNet on the other hand is the future of digital data distribution. Guess what? The middlemen are being eliminated because you and I are now opportuned to exchange our data for Spyce!

You may be wondering what Spyce is by now! It is the currency cementing the entire Decenternet ecosystem. Just like Bitcoin, it is going to be mined and stored in digital wallets to be used as value exchanger to access all the commodities on the decentralized internet. Unlike Bitcoin however, it's going to be super easier and safer to mine with much more attainable requirements thus making it more universally distributed.

Additionally, DNet comes with its own blockchain based operating system. Anuvys OS, according to the whitepaper is designed to protect your privacy and freedom as well as improve the production rate of spice. In essence if you are a mining guru or anyone else who wants to own a stake in the 53% of total mineable tokens you should have this.

One important area of data leakage to centralized corporations like Google is via the browser and search engines. They match things you have searched for with your IP address and claim to give you "unique services". With Osiris Browser and Liberty Search Engine you no longer have to worry about those.

You are promised a certain fluent internet experience which will be made possible by Proof Of Reliability based mining networks and Software Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN). All these may sound a little technical but isn't that what new technology is about? It works! Full stop!!

There has been a recent public sensitization surrounding Net Neutrality as people lament the way internet service providers are shadow-banning some websites. This is exactly the kind of thing that makes the world as crooked as it is with massive power centralized in the hands of a few.

DNet can help us achieve the original simple goals of Net Neutrality by giving all websites equal chances of being seen and read. Freedom is not freedom if one is silently being controlled by the fallacy of choice. This is exactly why the Advanced Research Projects Agency Network (ARPANET), an early technical foundation of the Internet is backing DNet.

Before I conclude, I will love you to pause for some minutes and ask yourself some very vital questions:

  • Who controls what I browse on the internet everyday?
  • How does what I browse affect me?
  • Have I ever had an experience that made me think of surveillance?
  • Why don't I get a share of my data being sold?
  • Should I really bother about all these?

As you ponder on these questions, begin to consider the possibility that in the nearest future you may perhaps need to change your search engine, browser, operating system and even currency in order to take back your life. Data is life. Don't continue to throw it away! Join Decenternet on this mega vision to decentralize the internet as we know it!

One important area of data leakage to centralized corporations like Google is via the browser and search engines. They match things you have searched for with your IP address and claim to give you "unique services". @nairadaddy you've really nailed it with this point, we all need to ponder about who gets more from all our data that's been exhausted, we really need to also be in control of our browser's and the goal of DNET is actually a dream worth investing in.
Thumbs up @nairadaddy, this article is very educative and enlightening

This matching is incredibly worrying and detramental to individual freedom and privacy! From what i can see DNet solves these issues, a very worthy cause and idea... I will be interested to see how it progresses!

Indeed it is, I'll also fully want to be aware of its progress too. Let's just hope they've got a good team in developing it to the required standards it needs for a smooth running.

Yeah! It's really annoying to think that someone somewhere has more data on you than you have of yourself. It's time to take back our freedom! Hopefully DNet delivers.

yes our ISP knows everything...let make the world of internet Decenternet .

Yeah. Surveillance is real. Let's end it now with decentralizationand blockchain.

I loved this post, @nairadaddy. These issues are very close to my heart and I care a great deal about privacy on the Internet and Net Neutrality. Your text spoke to me directly, addressing concerns that I have every day, as I surf the Net. Let’s hope that Decenternet succeeds in realising their grand vision. I surely will be following their efforts from now on.

I second that! I hope that this or projects like this succeed! It is so important for our future!

Thanks so much Oleg!
Dnet's journey may not be an easy route but it's the needed route for the internet.

Thanks for this information @nairadaddy. This happens to me a lot. When I was booking a holiday, immediately I had adverts for hundreds of holidays. If you are looking for something more personal you wouldn't want adverts flashing up on your computer.Things have got to change and with seeing your blog perhaps DNet and Arpanet will be the start of this. For most people using Tor is not easy. If DNet can make it intuitive for normal every day people to use I think they will be onto a winner.

Useability and simplicity are key factors in the success of any app. I believe they have put that into consideration. Thanks!
