The color turned out good, it looks like you used caulk over the bad area's, why not dry wall mud it wouldn't have been so shiny.

Thanks. It was shiny when wet but now it looks pretty normal. I might try and mud it and sand it and make it perfect someday but for now I'm good.

It took me years to get good at dry walling, it's definitely an art to master. Just make sure if you do wear a mask when you sand, that stuff can be nasty too. If you want the cheaters way out use some primer over the shiny parts and repaint it'll take the shine out.

I might just leave it. It would be a pain to try and make everything perfect. I'm happy it came out as good as it did.

Over the years being a landlord I'd go the extra mile to make the place as perfect as possible before renting it out again, when it's yourself you can just claim to be the only one who'll see the boo boo because you know where it's at...lol, works for me.

lol I wonder what it has in it. It seems strange for paint to smell good. I dunno if it was the paint or the pigment.
