Toy Vs Giant // Stop Motion Project // My all Time Favourite
A stop motion battle on skis between a toy & a human.
It started when Lu offered me a Playmobil for christmas that year!
She knew I wanted to try stop motion for a while...
This short film is more than 10 000 files photos & videos for only 2mn30 long video.
Sometimes, I ask myself why I do that? but I forgot it instantly, playing with a camera.
It tooks us, my girlfriend Lu, Dam & Mickael 3 months to realise it.
When the studio* was ready, we had fun moving the toy & took hundreds of pictures.
*studio: 2 pictures, 1 light on the table of the kitchen of a one room flat ^^
It was our first time doing stop motion!
We were so excited to see the footage looked good, we just didn't stop shooting one of my all time favourite...
Go Pro Black 4 was the gear to shoot it, back in 2014.
So Yes, gear means nothing! You can make something great with your phone only.
A few years later, I still use stop motion, it gives something cool that normal footage will never get.
