Into the Future - Poetry
Waiting for it,
Years passing by,
A bag of lies,
Lay strewn open.
Lit up a bonfire,
Of ego,
All around,
And ever more.
Time to say goodbye,
Into the future,
We ran headlong,
Tempted by the unknown future.
A calling,
For the conspiracy of feelings,
Led them all to the fountain,
To drink from.
Terror screamed into the night,
In the eden was peace,
A story untold,
Lay ready to be uncovered.
In all these ages,
Have one found,
What they seek for the most?
Why yearn for,
When you can never attain.
