Like any other team game, game
basketball has some tactics and strategies for
win the game. However, to obtain results that
maximum in a basketball game, of course it should be
know also defense tactics. The following is
defense tactics in basketball.

1. Defense Tactics
   Defensive tactics are a run
   by the defensive team in order to dispel the opponent's attack.
   The elements of the implementation of defense patterns consist of attitudes
   watch and foot.
   Attitude is done by bending both knees, body

   a. Regional Defense
   The regional defense arrangements in basketball games,
   among others 2-1-2, 2-3, 3-2, l-2-2, and 2-2-1. Every pattern
   defense has its own strengths and weaknesses,
   respectively. The strength of the regional defense is as
   following.

1. Very good against a weak team inside
   control the ball.
2. Can turn off shooter attack with
   pivot.
3. Avoiding individual mistakes.
4. Very good against the team that uses
   patterned assault.
   The weakness of the regional defense is as
   following.
5. Every player's attention is split on two players
   or more.
6. It is very dangerous if the opposing team can do
   lightning attack.
