My everything, my heart, my daughter. Miss 12.

Miss 12!

My whole universe revolved around her from the moment she was born. She is perfection.

That moment shaped who I am today. In that moment my life became about someone else. I knew every decision, every thought would in some way come back to this precious little person.

She has grown so much in these 12 years. I can now begin to see the woman she will become and I am more proud of her day by day.

She is a born leader (probably helped along by the fact that she is the oldest of 6). At school she was the head of her sports house in grade 6 and is already making plans to run for student leader in three years time when she hits grade 10.

Her only flaw is her need to have everybody like her. With her pure little heart she does not understand why some people don't. Her logic is that she likes everybody, so everyone should, in kind, like her. If only life was so simple. It would definitely be a better place if we all saw things from her perspective.

She is passionate and sensitive. Her love for her siblings, especially a certain little Miss 2 is beautiful. She is their protector and friend.

She is also my biggest supporter, when I need a hand, she is there. If a nappy needs changing or a bedtime story needs to be told, she jumps at the opportunity.

She is organised. She also likes to organise others, which on occasion can get her into a smidgen of trouble. Let's face it, when you sit down for your morning coffee and get bombarded with the days schedule according to Miss 12, it can be a bit much.

But despite her need to manage others, her heart is always in the right place. Her concern for others is admirable and her want to constantly help is inspiring.

I love her with every fibre of my being. I'm forever in her debt for the love and care she gives this crazy busy mumofmany.
