Shining breezes from the south led us to Blangkeujeren, the center of the Labuhan Haji Barat sub-district. This is a land where the shari'a of Islam is never lonely. The land where the people are very proud because a great cleric has spent life here, is dedicated to teaching the religion of Allah.
Besides being known as the center of Islamic development in Aceh, Labuhan Haji has its own special features. If you are there, of course it's not complete if you don't come to Darussalam. This is where every time the study of religion is echoed, especially mysticism. This area is now dubbed "Kota Pengkajian Tauhid Tasawuf".

Dayah Darrusalam is one of the pesanten who have long conducted studies, education and application of Sufism. Darussalam played an important role in printing the generation of Islam and has given birth to many great Acehnese scholars from the past until now.
The location of the pesantren is in the village of Blang Poroh, Labuhan Haji Barat, Aceh Selatan. It was first established by Sheikh Abuya Muda Maly Al-Khalidy around 1940. He is a charismatic scholar of Aceh-Minangkabau descent.
