During the formation of farmer group organizations, extension workers usually provide opportunities for farmers to determine who will be part of the farmer group organization. Extension agents provide opportunities for farmers to participate in planning extension programs for the future, this is done so that farmers better understand what should be done in the future without having to be informed by extension agents.

The extension agent provides direction to farmers to always cooperate in the development of farmer groups so that the farmer groups in the village are better in the future and extension agents participate in helping to form farmer group organizations so that the farmer groups in the village can be arranged systematically and occupied by people who are already experienced in running a farm.
