marketfriday: after going out from the hospital

I didn't post much these past few days because I was in the hospital taking care of a friend. That friend lives far from the hospital and his mother went home to get the papers to use so that they can avail free. But today the doctor sais he's fine and good to go out. We went to the terminal to ride bus in going home. They had different route from me but the same place to ride a bus. When we arrived in the terminal I noticed that many people were setting up. I wonder why but I remember that tomorrow is Saturday.

Every Saturday it's meet up in this town. I'm not sure if that will be the correct word to translate in our bisayan dialect from (tagbo). If we translate it, "tagbo" means meeting or meet up. It's not that there will be a meeting or a meet up for a certain person. This called meet up because people from the mountain and the other place who will sell their own goods or products will go in this place. What are they selling by the way? Actually there's no specific product their selling but most of it are vegetables, food's and fruit's. Many people will come here because the price of each product is lower if you'll buy that product in store's here.
As you can see their setting up their own tent. Some of the people doesn't need a tent especially if their goods or products are not too many. Like these people here, they're waiting for tomorrow so that they can sell early. They will just sleep here and wait for tomorrow.

We passed the people waiting for tomorrow's meet up. We arrived in the terminal where we will ride a bus. Actually the terminal of this town, well of course this is a City.

Lot of food you can buy here if you want to buy "pasalubong". Pasalubong means something you can give for the people who are waiting for your return. It doesn't need to be specified as long as there's something you can give to.

By the way you can find this place is in Maasin City located. It's part of the province of Southern Leyte. This is a terminal and about the meeting place of a market is in every Saturday. There will always a meet up every Saturday. It's easy to find if you want to go there. The first image above is what we called "Jeep's or jeepney's. I could say that this kind of vehicle came first when you go to a far placw. This kind of vehicle is old, it's fun to ride in it but it's not safe. The smoke and the materials are bad.
