ntopaz-image-0 ntopaz-image-1 ntopaz-image-2 ntopaz-image-3 ntopaz-image-4 ntopaz-image-5 ntopaz-image-6 ntopaz-image-7 ntopaz-image-8 Today it is not renders actually, 'cause my PC failed to process textures and these pics are pics from Substance Painter viewport. After I ended with modelling, I had 24 pieces of geometry. In order to render the scene out U have to transfer it in .fbx format with proper Uv's. Then U have to bake all the maps on every single piece of geometry. And when I did all the work, my pc simply refused to combine all that stuff in Iray renderer =)
So, sorry for that low quality today.

Time to make 6 hours.

Tools used - Cinema 4d, Substance Painter.

I'm sorry to hear about those technical issues but I like your attitude about it.. or at least it sounds like you were not really frustrated by that. Knowing myself I wouldn't sound that cheerful after such experience.. :)

When I opened your post I actually didn't realize that this was an illustration. I thought that you built a real robot :) It looks REAL! I actually like its adorable smile and long arms. It looks so cute!!

this is on startup. after crash I don't usually check the log. I already know that old i5 + 8gb of ram + old 2gb-notebook format-video are not enough for modern 3d software.

It looks great to me. I really admire the patience of graphic designers and digital artists. I just can't get anything done digitally.
It reminded me of a robot made by a guy at a local repair shop with car parts.
