Don't make wish, make things happen.
"I wish" is one of the statements that underestimate what man can do. It is like confessing our weaknesses and then doing nothing about it.
"I wish" confesses weakness, impossibility, "I can't". Although, not always obvious to us that this is what we are doing. So we should avoid it as much as we can.
Let me start with myself, going home from school one day, very tired, I wished something would just carry me home immediately and I won't have to walk the long distance. Fine, that was my wish but I could have just granted it by calling a bike or stopping a cab to take me home. It's that simple!
And if I can't do this because my wallet is empty, wishes won't fill it up! I am suppose to think of ways to either get help immediately or avoid such in future.
You see, that's how problems get solved.
Human brain works faster when it knows what problem it's trying to solve.
When you wish you can make money, you get confused the more. When you think of how to make money, your brain shows you the annoying rock beside your house that can be crushed and sold as gravel.
Don't wish to make Nigeria better when you become president, grant your wish by doing your best as a neutral citizen.
Don't wish you had more money, think of how to create more.
Don't wish you had a better family, love the one you have first.
Don't wish to spend more time with those that are gone, spend your time with those with you before it's too late.
Don't wish you hadn't fallen in love, learn from your heartbreak and be careful the next time.
Don't wish you were more beautiful than this, appreciate yourself: bath, brush, eat good food and dress well too.
Don't wish your Garri had sugar, go and buy.
"If wishes are horses, beggars would ride"
Yes, a beggar can steal a horse to ride if that's what will take him. Wish granted! We only need to take action.
Note, when we start making wishes, it usually reveal some level of our weakness. It reveal things that seemingly seem impossible for us.
We must avoid these wishes and start to make things happen and we'll soon realize much of our wishes have been granted in no time.
