The Disaster Artist - A Review
I had high hopes for James Franco's The Disaster Artist. It didn't disappoint. If you've ever seen The Room or an interview with Tommy Wiseau then you know you're in for something different.
I love the take and direction they took with this film. It could've been a slapstick joke of a film but they put such love and appreciation into it and made you care about the characters and the story. About Tommy Wiseau having such a uniquely wonderful and fresh view of the world.
I think there's every chance that James Franco ends up with some awards for this movie and they will be well deserved.
I would definitely recommend seeing this in the theatre with a crowd of people. There's nothing like seeing a really great movie with a crowd and hearing/feeling the group reaction.
