What's good in the steemit hood my fellow steemians? Hope this post finds you and yours well on this Friday evening. I currently hail from the south coast of Massachusetts, where recreational cannabis is legal and agriculture and socialism seem to go hand in hand. But this post is supposed to be about me so let's get to it...

I first heard of steemit from my good friend and longtime cohort, @johnvibes. It took a bit to catch on and understand exactly what it is and how it works, and that's something I'm really still wrapping my head around. I'll admit at first I only thought of it as a way to continue having a social media presence and get paid for it. It didn't take long to figure out that making money is not what I should be focused on here, and it's not. As many of you probably already know, if you follow your heart and realize your dreams, money is a byproduct. Besides, there are far more important things to achieve other than financial success such as happiness, which no amount of dollars or crypto can buy.

I turn 43 this year the day after 4/20 and this will be my first 4/20 in a legal rec state as my family and I have transplanted to the south coast of Massachusetts where we are homesteading with another family on a one acre micro farm. Here we have a 500 sq ft greenhouse and a smaller one attached to a storefront and an old rustic wooden barn which we have deemed a clubhouse and office/boardroom. We are learning how to live #sustainable and practicing #zerowaste to the best of our ability while building a lifestyle brand under which to operate an organic agricultural co-op and sell ethically sourced eco-freindly products and merchandise. We're also working on developing master classes, workshops and seminars.

My wife and I have been together almost a decade and we have two unvaccinated unschooled girls ages 5 and almost 8. We have been practicing zero waste and learning to live frugal and thrifty for about five years now. We love to reuse, repurpose, repair and upcycle. We hate plastic, chemtrails, GMOs, pop culture, war and heroin. Call us crunchy, hippies, woke or radicals. What we are is a Raver, an artist, a future scientist and rock star.

I'm a huge proponent for psychedelic medicine and cannabis for anything. My wife, Mary, has epilepsy. I have battled with chronic PTSD since 2005. Needless to say we deal with a great deal of emotional upheaval, which is often mistaken for bipolar. If it weren't for cannabis, and the occasional LSD, MDMA and psylocibin, we'd surely be consistently miserable and probably teetering on suicidal. Last year I graduated from Kean University with a BA in psychology and CADC. This year I will be starting grad school at Umass Dartmouth for clinical mental health. It is my aim to become licensed to administer psychedelics in group therapy settings. In other words, I want to distribute moderate pharmaceutical grade doses to people at Raves and festivals. Part of my plan is to create mobile fully sustainable, eco-friendly manufacturing facilities so that they can be parked on site and the substances can be provided free of packaging and we wil no longer need testing kits which are largely inaccurate and harmful to the environment; not to mention lay people probably shouldn't be handling such chemicals at a party.

I guess I'm supposed to keep this short and sweet, which is something I'm not very good at. I love to write. I've been a DJ for about 34 years now and I've been producing and writing music for 20 of those years. I work closely with #NYCRavers and #SoundsSoSweet, two of the biggest Rave production companies out of NY. I have a fairly heavy criminal record resulting from nonviolent drug charges some years ago, which has made it difficult to find viable employment. Until this business takes off, Mary is working odd jobs doing construction and I work long days in the office networking, and blogging and podcasting my ass off!
