I Finally Reached Reputation 71

Reputation system on Steem before bidbots arrived was a pretty decent system that showed how much support of big votes accounts received over time. With arrival of bidbots you could buy your reputation and artificially inflate it which kind of destroyed the whole Reputation system, you can still do it today.

Ideally if system remained the same without bidbots only organic votes would increase your reputation. This is how many steemians became popular early on when their reputation increased over time. I used be pretty well voted by big votes very early on, I reached reputation 70 2 years ago and was stuck there ever since.

It actually took 2 years and 2 hardforks for Steem to change for the better and for organic curation to start flowing again, lately my posts received decent amount of support which finally raised my reputation to 71.

I used to believe this is it, 70 is my number which will be my final Steem form. But here I am on reputation 71, still fighting a good fight. On this platform called Steem you need to build and build, there is no reason to ever quit. With time and effort results will come.

Hard Fork 21/22 made all that possible, it is definitely a step in the right direction. There are still few issues that needs to be resolved in order for Steem to become one of the best platforms on the internet.

Whales need to step up with their game more, they need to cancel autovotes and manually curate here and there. Remember, this only works if the whole community engages again. With recent power ups it is time for Steem as a whole to level up, no more childish bickering, it is time to evolve into something better. We can do it!
