Turn Off the Lights, an open source, one-browser-extension-for-all-browsers, is available as a plugin for the following browsers:
Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Yandex, Safari, Opera, and Maxthon.
This extension, that I am also using, let you focus only on video playing, while fading the entire page to dark, producing cinema-like effects. It's very simple. You just click on the grey light icon and all the 'distractions' surrounding the video will be faded, except the video, thus providing you a more enjoyable viewing experience.
How does it work?
When you install the extension, you will see a grey lamp icon in the browser's menu bar, which will fade the screen when you click on it, and restores the screen when clicking outside the video area.
Download the extension.
Visit the twitter.

I posted this hunt 6 months ago and that was my 2nd hunt, which was delisted. The mod said it has minimal functionality so wasn't approved. 😁
My very first hunt, that got delisted, was later approved when someone else posted it. It is because, SH posting guidelines changed during the time, and so the hunts, that didn't fit SH guidelines at that time, they can now probably be approved.
For the first time I hear bout this extension. The feature is really helpful. But I have a little bit confusion..............
video background light or monitor screen light ?
which one mam @monajam
The screen light, @mawahab
So when you play a video, you see different video suggestions at the side of the videos, and sometimes, different Ads surrounding the videos; all these will be faded if you turn on this extension.
Now I am clear,, Just amazing
Thanks mam @monajam for your kind reply
Adding a video clip of how it works could have helped guide us on how this really works. For sure, you did well by explaining how this extension worked.
I personal have that kind of spirit that easily got distracted when watching video and at same time surfing the web. This is surely going to help me got that issue solved. I really love the way this extension is been programmed as it makes sure that the entire screen is been faded into black background thereby focusing your attention mainly on the running video.
This is such a great hunt @monajam
Because of word limit, I couldn't upload the video, but here it is :)
He he the easiest solution is to put the window in full screen and thats it😁
I dont know if i am watching something than i focus on that. Prepaire the food or snack and thats it. Nobody cant disturb me because i became angry😁
But yes this can be a usefull extension for those who are close to the pc and they are doing something else also beside of the watching.
Different people different needs.
Still it is a good hunt just i shared my own opinion😊

I loved it and gonna use it. I never can finish a full video because of this distraction. It will be helpful for me like people.
And my toddler boy will get surely annoyed if he could not see any 'next' video. Ha ha , and I will take that advantage.
I love this hunt! what a great extension especially sense I blog a lot at night and like that you can click it on or off to focus on just the video ! Awesome hunt that I will check out further!💁👍💕
