One-day Adventure Above All Clouds
It was summer, in 2005, when I, my partner, and my parents went on a hike to the highest mountain in Slovenia - Triglav - whose peak is located at a majestic 2864 m above sea level.
We started our adventure from Pokljuka at 20:00 o'clock in the evening. The headlights illuminated the way to our goal. I will not argue that I easily walked the 8-hour tour which led us across the Konjscica Mountain to Vodnikova Koca,...
Sure there were times when I just ran out of power, but fortunately, we were equipped with energy fruit bars, which brought us back the lost strength quite successfully so we could continue our journey.
I must say - it was worth it to hold on and continue! Just a few minutes after we arrived at Kredarica at 2539m above sea level at 3:30 o'clock, we were greeted by the most beautiful sunrise that we've ever seen in our lives.
When the sun's rays broke into the grayscale mountains, we stopped with our mouth open wide. Those were moments that are anchored forever in our memory. I wonder - who could resist this view?!?

Thanks! It is true, I would like to see this view again. Perhaps in the future, when children grow a bit. Of course, the sea can be seen if there is a nice weather :)

It's so in life. We need to make every effort for all the nice moments. I have no say, I do not know how to describe the impression that leaves this fantastic moment.
Although every Slovenian should hike on Triglav once in his\her life, I didn't yet. For a view like yours, I think I would definitely put it on my to-do list. Thanks for sharing your story with us!
