My Story Today, From Vacation to Puncak Bogor, Making Timphan, to Eating Acehnese Noodles from Bang Hasan

How are you today? Hopefully we are all always in good health, and can do various activities today smoothly. To start my post this time, I will share my photo at the peak of Bogor which I took a few days ago when I was on a nature tour there.

The peak of Bogor is close to the mountains, so the weather here is very cold. Therefore, I always hug my body with my hands because I can't stand the very cold wind at the peak of Bogor. Because of its position close to the mountains and high, it often rains here. But the rain is only for a short time and not too heavy, and after the rain stops the weather is sunny again. Well friends, that was the story of my experience when traveling to the peak of Bogor. Now I will share my activities today at home, namely cooking timphan.

Timphan is our Acehnese food, maybe my friends who live outside Aceh are still unfamiliar with timphan cuisine. Okay then now I will explain a little about timphan so that my friends are familiar with timphan cake. This is a timphan cake made from rice flour, and I filled it with grated coconut mixed with sugar. Then wrapped it in young banana leaves, then steamed it until cooked. The steaming process can take about 30 minutes over medium heat. After it is cooked, we wait a while for the heat to reduce, then we can enjoy it. That's it. After finishing cooking timphan, I had an appointment with a friend to eat Acehnese noodles at our regular cafeteria, Bang Hasan.

My friends and I usually eat Acehnese noodles. Bang Hasan's noodles taste very delicious, available in Acehnese noodles with tuna, shrimp, meat, and crab. We can choose according to our respective tastes. Bang Hasan's customers are mostly female employees, and also old and young men. Earlier, four of us went here to enjoy Bang Hasan's Acehnese noodles. I ordered Acehnese noodles with shrimp, while my friends asked for mixed noodles with fish and crab. Very satisfied after eating Aceh noodles made by Bang Hasan. We all felt full and after that we went home for a lunch break. Okay friends, that's all my story for today, hopefully we can meet again in the next post. Happy greetings.

Oh! Your trip to the peak of Bogor sounds amazing. The view must have been beautiful despite the cold weather. I love how you shared your experience with such vivid descriptions. How did you manage to stay warm during your visit? Thank you for sharing your experience at the summit of Bogor. The weather is cold but sounds refreshing. I'm curious, besides enjoying the beautiful scenery, did you do anything else there?

While there, of course, there are many things that I do with my other friends, such as enjoying young coconut water and noodles sold in the tourist area there. Everything is complete there to pamper visitors.
