PLAGIARISM

Plagiarism is taking others' works (assessments, etc) and making them resemble their own arrangements (conclusions, etc), for instance distributing others' compositions for their own sake; copyright infringement"

I first heard the term "plagiarism" when I was in high school. There was a friend of mine who mentioned the word "plagiator" to another of our friends. It turned out that he became very upset because our friend cheated on his Indonesian test answers. I had time to ask him about terms that were foreign to my ears, until after that I understood his brief explanation.

We all have to agree that plagiarism is a crime. Because of course these actions will harm people who have spawned creative ideas from their thoughts. Being a plagiarist means bullying other people. But not a few people or maybe we ourselves have done this intentionally or unintentionally. By reading the "code of ethics and content" review, I hope we, especially myself, feel ashamed when we are proud of the work of others that we publish as our own work. Therefore, I strongly support the existence of a law that regulates plagiarism.

In fact, we don't need to be plagiarists or plagiarists. Because it turns out that it's legal when we want to write down opinions or thoughts, pictures, photos, made by other people in our work. This is called "quoting." Well...But what we have to remember is that there is an ethic, namely by including the original source from which we get something that is not ours. Usually we only need to copy the link address or link from the source we read or the image we like. Then paste below the quote or image that we selected earlier. And after that it's up to us to change the name of the link into what word, for example Source, Source, Click, Here, and so on. Thus we already appreciate the person who is the owner of the idea. Isn't it easy not to be a plagiarist?

Another way we can take to avoid plagiarizing other people's work is to improve our paraphrasing skills. Quoted from the Indonesian Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia,
Rewording is rehashing an idea in another manner without changing its significance. Summarizing is utilized by the creator to give a marginally unexpected accentuation in comparison to the first creator."
The following are some ways that we can do to paraphrase quoted from the Publisherdeepublish.com translation source from the Purdue OWL Guide Source

Read the source text again until you fully understand the contents of the text
Get rid of the original text/manuscript and rewrite the ideas in the text on a piece of paper.
List a few words under your paraphrase to remind you of how you understood the original text. On top of the notecard, write down keywords that indicate the subject or theme of your paraphrase.
Compare your writing with the original to check whether all ideas, especially the important ones, have been included in the results.
Use double quotes to identify special terms, terminology, or phrases that you borrowed from the original, and that you take to be exactly the same as the original.
Write the source (including the page) on your notepad so that it will be easier for you to write down the bibliography or reference, if you intend to paraphrase it.
To end my review, I will write the following that:

"I have read and understand the Steemit Etiquette in the Steemit Community and will do my best to use it"

example of citation.

Keep away from plagiarism. We ought to consistently refer to basically everything that we duplicate from different spots whether it's simply a line or an entire paragraph.Or whether you discovered this data in a graph or book or article or site.We ought to likewise add quotes "or" while composing and furthermore give legitimate reference of each passage or sentence that we compose..

Remark: I will stop here by saying “ I have read and understand the steemit Etiquette on steemit community and will do my best to embrace them”

That's my brief review of plagiarism, hopefully it will be useful and hopefully get verified from the Greeter team.

Thanks
