Mimo’s : Moroccan Cuisine
My colleague and I visited this Moroccan restaurant last week. This was the first ever time I’ve been to a Moroccan restaurant.
We went early around 1845hrs as we were in a hurry to watch a movie later that day. The place was empty with only 2 tables occupied.
Here is the menu, I went for Chicken Bastilla for the starters and meat platter for the mains. My colleague went for lamb skewers.
The place is quiet and you do get a restaurant feel. The chicken was tender however the lamb was a bit chewy which I particularly don’t like. I know some people do. They serve mains only with salad so you need to order sides separately which is a pain. I went for sautéed mushrooms which were best I have eaten.
I also found portion size is too small to be filling on its own and you definitely need a side dish to go with or else one would come out with stomach half filled.
They have a small bar with decent collection of alcoholic drinks.
I felt it is medium expensive largely due to the portion size but worth visiting once in a while. Would I go there again. Yes, may be but I would be ordering a chicken dish ofcourse with mushrooms.
