Conspiracy Theory Creative Writing Contest – What Happened to Malaysia Flight 370?

...What happened to Malaysia flight 370?

For the people who haven’t heard about it yet, on the 8th of march 2014, a scheduled flight from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to Beijing, China, disappeared somewhere over the South China sea about 1 hour after lift-off.
The Boeing 777 carried a lot of passengers, 227 passengers, including 2 infants and 12 Malaysian crew members, to be correct.

As far as they know about it, there are only speculations of what happened. On the military radar they saw the plane sidetracked from its original flight route.
Once the plane started deviating, radio contact stopped working. There was no more contact with the plane.
The authorities of air-traffic control say the plane may have flown for hours after last contact.
Apparently the plane sent signals to a satellite until four hours after disappearing.

This raises the possibility the boeing could have flown much further than where they were searching. According to experts, a pilot or a passenger may have switched off the transponder, so they could fly undetected. Otherwise if they would have suffered some catastrophic failure, all the signals would have stopped at the same time.

This raises a lot of questions, it’s a very mysterious case!

My speculations based on my own research...

The first thing that made me scratch my head was, the turn around of the plane, why would they do this?
Could it be, the plane was hijacked by terrorists? But then again, why would terrorists make the plane vanish into thin air?
It must be something else, some even speculate the pilot may have committed suicide..
After awhile of speculating some cliche theories, suddenly it struck me, in this period of the disappearing, I heard rumors about the local government of Beijing put a stop on the import of toilet paper! They all of a sudden became aware of the fact, we are killing the trees for cleaning our assess!! We must stop this madness they said!
I couldn’t stop thinking, there maybe was a connection with the missing Malaysian flight.. and the toiletpaper law..
So I did everything I could to find the pilot’s wife.

Finally I found her after months of searching. I was in Kuala Lumpur for work anyway, so I arranged a meeting with her.
I told her about the connection I made with the toiletpaper law, and the missing flight. She started crying immediately, after a minute or so, she started talking…
She told me, he had to stay a week in Beijing before he had to fly back. He had some meetings he had to attend to in Beijing. When she came home from work that day, when he was flying to Beijing, She noticed he had forgotten his second suitcase.. he packed a second suitcase, solely for the purpose of smuggling toilet paper into Beijing.

She said the idea of having no toilet paper, stressed him out so much, he couldn’t even bear the thought of one day without...
She revealed something to me that has never been revealed to the press. You can clearly see why.. they took smuggling toilet paper into Beijing very serious those days!
25 years of prison with maybe even death sentence.. if the judge had a bad day…
Poor lady…I felt a lot of sorrow for her… We finally came to the same conclusion, he must have remembered suddenly about the suitcase, and wanted to go back to get it.

Can you understand now, why he turned off the transponder? Why the sudden turnaround?
The picture just became much clearer didn’t it?
He forgot the most important thing, this is why we never heard anything of the Boeing 777 anymore… He didn’t take into account that the plane didn’t had in enough fuel to make it back home… and crashed somewhere deep into the South China sea, they can’t go deep enough in some places, that’s probably why they can’t find the plane...

Luckily the Beijing government found a solution for this problem now.. from now on, they recycle toilet paper.. (YAK!!!)
Never going there again!!
