🎨 Watercolor "The Old Bath"

A group of our faculty came to a riverside resort for an open-air painting. All students went to look for beautiful landscape views and cute corners. I wandered for a long time in search of an interesting subject. And at some point I liked the old abandoned bathhouse. As a result, this etude was born.

Our group met at the appointed time. The teacher asked us to show our works. Basically everyone started to show a drawings of a big cathedrals and spectacular buildings. Finally the teacher turned his attention to me and with undisguised interest asked:
"Show me your work!"
I opened the album.
He said:
"That,s all? Why a bathhouse?.."
Then he looked closely and said:
"You know, but I like it ..."

Now, when I look at this sketch, I remember our teacher, his wisdom and tact

Recently I went with my sons to that river resort. The bath disappeared, it was dismantled, - only the house of the owners remained.
