Steem is a blockchain which is publicly accessible and enables people to earn the currency by using their brain (what can be called “Proof-of-Brain”). The two building blocks of this protocol are blockchain and token. Steem has been successfully operating for more than a year, and has now exceeded both Bitcoin and Ethereum in number of transactions processed.
Steemit is the social media platform which runs on the Steem Blockchain. Steem blockchain produces Steem and Steem Dollar as a trade-able currency earned via the Steemit Social Media.
