Crap Animal Photos! Comedy Open Mic Round #18
I came across a group called "crap bird photography" the other day and realised that maybe I'd found my photography niche. For years I've been trying to eminate those fancy animal photos that get all the likes on Instagram, but I fail at every step. A fancy chook in a cottage garden always seems to evade me. Probably doesn't help that I can't seem to grow a lush garden.
But now I've found my new niche, let me share some of my attempts.
I once saw a fantastic photo of a rabbit running towards the camera through the lush grass and had to see if I could capture something similar.
My version is more like "When rabbits attack from the weeds!"

That's cool that you are allowed to take pics of your hens. Mine had a cease and desist letter drawn up and served to me after this one.

I'll pop in, but because I'm in Australia, I'm mostly out of whack with the rest of the world and seem to hit discord whenever it's empty.
It's the strangest thing, but you posted that pic at about the same time I was posting a something on our own chicken with her crop bra! Ours is homemade too, but I'm thinking I might have over complicated it compared to yours. How did you do yours?
First of all, everyone else seems to be over on that side of the world, and our fearless leader is in Australia, so you will have someone who speaks your language.
As for the crop bra, I just went to the local thrift shop and bought a bunch of different socks. One pair was compression socks that I believe are for people with diabetes. I could be wrong about that, but they were compression socks for sure. I cut the top off and then cut a hole in one side to pull the wings through. It's a bit of trial and error, but $1 compared to $20 is a big difference.
Sounds pretty inventive! If it works, then that's the main thing. Trial and error is the order of the day with crop bras I think. 😉

My Swype autocorrect comes up with some corkers. My favourite has to be "suicidal media" whenever I try to write "social media". Do you think it's trying to tell me something? 🤔

This was hilarious. My issue is being able to get the auto focus to actually focus on what is in the middle of the screen on my phone.
Some things are just once in a lifetime moments never to be repeated.
