24 hours ago summer was still here, but all of a sudden winter is on our doorstep...
How are things everyone?
I hope you are all having a great day.
Even though we are in the middle of November, up until yesterday you couldn’t really tell if summer is over or not. And that’s because climate here in Greece is probably way different than what most of you are used to...
It’s like we have 300+ days of summer, which is unheard of but it’s just our reality! That was the case until yesterday. Because starting from today, I think we are about to live the remaining 65...:P
To be honest with you and those that interact or visit my blog often will definitely confirm is that I am a summer guy. I mean really a summer guy. BUT, even though I hate winter, I love moments like this one...
Maybe it has to do with the fact that winter in Greece isn’t the same with what Northern Europeans are experiencing....I like snow, really low temperatures and the sense of a “heavy” winter. But you have to travel to Northern Greece in order to see snow...
Do I sound greedy? Hmm...maybe... Still, I wouldn’t change those 300+ sunny days no matter what. It’s a blessing actually.
So until “our” summer is back I’ll have to bear it.
PS. That won’t stop me from visiting the sea on a daily basis of course.

Today I wore two winter jackets because it was so cold. Yesterday it was warmer. But at night we had frost. But the sun was shining today, but the wind whistled through and through.

You probably believe Russia now, right? Because I said two winter jackets :D. But that's not true. It was just cold from day to day. I am from Germany, from Bavaria. You know for sure FC Bayern. Today is fantastic weather, the sun is shining and there is a nice wind. I wish you a very nice day.

That is the first real snowfall accumulation of the year. No wind so an inch or 2 settled on my tree in the yard. Only like -2 Celsius so not bad.
