Along the Vilsalpsee to the Bergacht waterfall

A fantastic hike in the heart of the Tannheimer Valley

The scenic hike in the area of the Vilsalpsee is easy to do even for families with small children and the elderly and therefore quite popular. Since the valley has long been a nature reserve, there are numerous rare species of animals and plants to observe here. South of the lake, which is picturesquely embedded between steep mountain walls, it goes through a mystical spruce forest to the valley, where the mighty Bergacht waterfall sounds its deep roar. On the way, the Vilsalpe with its small but fine selection of Tyrolean specialties offers a rest.
