Losing Yourself

Two of us.
Yet one knows how
to love more.

Only one knows how this
could be a forever
that might not last.

A part of us breaks,
to feel, that things
might get better,
that maybe love
would come back and stay.

Maybe things can be fixed.
Or maybe they'll
stay the same.

Your heart breaks,
your mind is a chaos
yet you live in
and out of love.

And people.
They tell you.
To save yourself.
To be your own hero.

But how can you,
when you can't let
your heart from breaking
and your mind from thinking right.

And because you're losing,
all that you wish
for is a forever in the
number of days you have.
