Achievement 1 02/06/2021 : INTRODUCTORY POST by @mimi12

Hello steemit fam, my name is Mariam Duffour.
I'm 28 and reside at Nsuta in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. I hold a bachelors degree in Education from the University of Cape Coast and currently a teacher in one of the best schools in my town.

I had my basic education at Daras school limited and later furthered to Effiduase senior High School in 2011. After school, unsure of what I wanted to do before pursuing a degree, I ventured into teaching some students in my community for a weekly stipend. This motivated me to pursue a degree in Education since I wanted to affect student's lives positively.
I love drawing, writing and reading interesting post. Because of this my friends, @euclid49 and @vigimahn introduced me to steemit. I am affectionately called Mimi by my friends which is why I bear the username,@ mimi12.

I am happily married and due to my love for children, I have been blessed with a lovely girl.
I find time out of my busy schedule to write every week. One will ask how a nursing mother could do this. The secret behind my inspiration is my loving husband who supports me in all I do especially with our baby.

I believe this platform will be very helpful in enriching my writing skills. I look forward to sharing my experiences with you and learning from you as well.
