Today I want to cook a very tasty and satisfying dish - Italian pasta with mushrooms and chicken.
I love Italian food, it is very popular all over the world. Despite the fact that it is easier and more artless than many other cuisines of the world it has a special charm and appeal.
Pasta quick to prepare, complete with meat, mushrooms, chicken and vegetables, various sauces and seasonings. Pasta - perfect for family dinners and friendly get-togethers and romantic dinners.
The main rule of any pasta - it should be "al dente" (slightly undercooked). If it is to digest, you get macaroni porridge, called that the word "pasta" - pure blasphemy. By the way, the sauce should also be sufficient, otherwise the cooked pasta is dryish and there it will be unpleasant.
To prepare you need:
Ingredients
- 200 grams of pasta + water for cooking
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves (chopped or passed through the press)
- 1 head of onion (finely chopped)
- 100 grams of mushrooms (sliced)
- 250 ml of cream (20% fat)
- 3 tbsp heaped fresh grated cheese
- 1 tablespoon parsley (chopped)
- salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
How to cook
1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Remember that pasta should be cooked in a large pot and lots of water.
2. Cut into cubes chicken.
3. Next, wash the mushrooms, and cut into small pieces.
4. Then chop the onion and garlic.
5. Grate the cheese on a fine grater.
6. Heat the olive oil in a skillet (on medium heat) and lightly fry it with chopped onion, slices of chicken and garlic until then, until the meat is from all sides white.
7. Add to the pan to the chicken fillets chopped mushrooms and fry all together for another couple of minutes, until the mushrooms begin to soften slightly.
8. Add the cream to the chicken and mushrooms, gently mix everything with a spoon and gently simmer for 1-2 minutes, then add two tablespoons of grated cheese. Once again, stir the contents of the pan with a spoon or spatula, add salt and black pepper.
9. Carefully lay the pasta to the pan with the sauce and mix. If necessary, add a little water (this is necessary to preserve juiciness).
Pasta with mushrooms and chicken is ready. When serving sprinkle the pasta with chopped parsley and the remaining grated cheese.
