There are many useful decentralized applications(dApps) built on the top of Steem blockchain and being an open-source public blockchain and having high scaling capacity it has become one of the popular blockchains in the domain of social media.

There are a total of 92 dApps on the top of Steem blockchain at the moment and there are various categories such as Games, Social, Finance, Media, Gambling, Wallet, Marketplace, Exchanges, Development, Health, etc.

I will list some of them which I think are really useful.

Steemhunt- It is one the oldest dApps and it offers a platform for the user who hunts new and innovative products. they have internal metrics to determine which users hunt the best innovative product and accordingly, they rank it in the order. That also depends on voting by other hunters as it a decentralized. But Steempeak is a place where every general tools are made available in a single interface. That is why I call it a comprehensive dApp. The development is still on, so in the future it may even offer something much better.
