See You At The Citadel
I recently figured out some new stuff with volumes(fog) It's one of those things that I've never really had a super strong understanding of in CG but I'm trying to get a better grasp on it. To help with that I opened up an old scene and added some fog and a post climate change environment.
There was some silly reddit post about someone claiming to be from the future a while back. They had predicted the Bitcoin price changes with surprising accuracy and it was in the crypto news circles for a hot second. Apparently in this post apocalyptic future all national currencies have collapsed and Bitcoin is the new world reserve currency. People that own .01 Bitcoin or more are now among the richest people in the world. There's a lot of other details, but specifically everyone who has the means to survive in this world live in citadels. Walled off cities where the mutants of the new world can't get in. That little bit stuck with me from that whole story for whatever reason and it's what I was thinking about when I made this.
Hopefully if this comes to fruition Steem will still have some value and in that case I'll see you all in the citadel.

That's amazing. The fog looks like a type of pollution from the future.
The citadel part would have stuck with me as well XD (mostly because I have citadels in my thing but not to keep mutants out).
I have a feeling I'll be outside with the mutants.
What was your render time like with the volumetrics?
