The last week has sucked being stuck at our last campground, waiting to get to the shop. Because the leg was broke, we had to leave the truck connected to the trailer and had to walk to the only grocery store in the last town, unable to go on any hikes or adventures. The one plus was we did have access to fast internet so I could get work done, but we had nothing good to take photos of or blog about, it was a real bummer.

I had been going back an forth on the phone with the shop that was 2 and half hours away, trying to make sure we had everything ordered correctly and that we could be in and out in a day if possible since this is our home, has food, our stuff, we already had reservations at a campground (and actually had two because I double booked), and we just wanted it to be a quick and easy fix for maintenance. I had picked this town to get the repairs in because it was where I thought we were supposed to be camped, but yesterday I found out I was wrong and that we were camping in a town 2 hours away...more fun!

So we woke up at 5 am and got the trailer ready and made our way. And of course when I get to the shop, the lady I had been talking with wasn't there today and didn't leave any notes so I had to reexplain our whole story and get them to make this priority. The people in the office were super nice, but the worker guy who was asked to help us get the trailer of the truck since we had the broken leg, just broke a jack over and ignored me when I told him I had blocks to put between the jack and trailer so it could be lifted high enough and he jacked it up not high enough and walked off. So I had to fix it with a block myself and I was concerned on how they would handle the trailer.

We left anyways and headed for a coffee shop to use the WiFi and get some work done. While there, my dad called and we were discussing it all, and the RV shop called and said it was fixed and ready and it had only been two hours! What a relief! No hotel needed or tons of work hours to pay for. It still cost $820, but it wasn't horrible or as bad as it could have been. And of course when we got there the battery was shot and we had to have them help me plug it in to recharge it up.

After so many issues we were back in action and headed to the next campground 2 hours away, which I missed two exits back to back and we could not turn around with the trailer so we ended up taking the scenic route and adding on hour. The new campground is very nice but the heat finally made it here to Canada and it is hot!!! So we went to turn the A/C on and it won't!!!!! The saga continues........

Hopefully you can get everything working again. On top of that maybe the crypto market will rebound and help with some of the cost as well.
