Writing Competitions - out there, in the big, scary world of writing

Steemit isn’t the only place you can get paid for your writing, although it’s where I’ve personally been most successful, I have to admit.

There are other ways, but some of the ways are illegal – surely not? Plagiarism – copywrite theft and downright stealing of ideas are some of the ways I would NOT recommend, so don’t… just don’t.

Competitions are one of the most fun ways of getting paid.

Steemit run a great deal of excellent competitions: @papapepper runs a few, the steemitphotochallenge is also awesome.

Yes, these are old links, but I found them on a quick search, I’m sure there are more.

The crux of this post, however, is for writing competitions.

There are loads!
You have to be quick though, these all have expiry dates on or before the end of October.

Also, please be aware that some of these competitions have entry fees to take into account.

I hope this post is of interest to some of you. If it is, and it doesn’t contravene Steemit rules for sending Steemians out into the World Wide Web rather than concentrating your focus here on Steemit, I’ll post more when I come across them.
