A Corral of Mustangs
Last week, we were at our club's bike rally. Because we were working the weekend, we went in the car and because I don't do camping very well these days, we also went home most nights.
On Saturday morning, just before we went back to the rally site, we drove a little further up the motorway to a meet @s0u1 wanted to go to.
Glorious sunshine with threatening black clouds when we set off, but I decided it was worth putting the top down because, for the moment, it was glorious sunshine.
One junction from the meet, we pulled off the motorway put the top up and rejoined the motorway.
It was like someone had tipped a bucket of water over us, so good call!
We followed the route and got to the meeting place, 18 other Mustangs stood in their splendour!
This one had some history to it.
This guy had to leave, but he came back, but had to leave again.
This guy took loads of photos and his son (though camera shy for me) thoroughly enjoyed himself.
Though I like the iconic older models from the golden age of the movies, Bullitt, Gone in 60 Seconds, Charlie's Angels (1976), Diamonds Are Forever, Goldfinger and The Thomas Crown Affair, I do prefer the later shape.
My favourite in the 19 that were at the meet?
This one, of course - mine.

Until the Right Hand Drive came to the UK there wasn't much chance of getting one. I'm so glad Ford decided to bring them to us.

We first drove a Mustang in Canada a few years ago.
At the hire place the guy seemed almost apologetic that he had to upgrade us.
