Mat 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Heb 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

God has shown through the ages that His desire is to reveal Himself to His people. The sad truth is He wants this more than we do.

God’s original plan

Gen 3:8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
It seems that God was in the habit to walk in the cool of the day with Adam and Eve.

Part 1 of this series we looked at how God did reveal Himself to people in the Old Testament and the people of old had a Divine Encounter.

Then I n Part 2 we can see the desire of God to be seen and heard by the Israelites and their desire for a buffer (Moses) between them and God. Many don’t want God to be too close. The scripture says, “God spoke to Moses like a friend, face to face”.

The fullness of time.

Gal 4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
Gal 4:5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
Gal 4:6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
Gal 4:7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

The number 1 proof that God wants us to see and know Him is Jesus Christ

God loved the world and sent His Son.

His Name is Emmanuel, God with Us,

Jesus the Creator of all things came and lived amongst men as a man.

Col 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
Col 1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

God was seen, handled and gazed upon by men.

Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Through Jesus we have access to the Heavenly Father

Eph 2:18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
Eph 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

Eph 3:12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

The body of Jesus ripped open for us.

We no longer need an earthly priesthood. We have a High Priest. His Name is Jesus!

He said, “If you have seen me, you have seen the father”.

Joh 14:8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
Joh 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

As the Holy Spirit overshadowed Mary and Virgin had a child. God shouted to the world that He desired a personal and upclose encounter with man.

If you are religious, unbelieving, prideful or the Pharisee type, you will never have this encounter.

It is a notable thing that Peter says, “And He will send Jesus” after the ascension of Christ.

Act 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
Act 3:20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

Repent! Change your direction, change your way of thinking. Believe the Bible

Refreshing will come from the PRESENCE OF THE LORD. HE SHALL SEND JESUS
