The Shrine
Hello Steemians! I'm proud to share to you one of the historical place in our country the Aguinaldo Shrine. This mansion was owned by the first president of our country, Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo. It was built in 1845, while Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo was born here on March 22, 1869. A year after his death in 1964, the mansion became a Heritage National Shrine.
Not only in this balcony where the Proclamation of our Independence happened, but also where our revolutionaries first raised and waved our National Flag.
They say before you can reached the top floor you'll need to climbed five flight of stairs and one ladder.
Next time I'll try to show you what's inside the Shrine...
